How Inventory Management works
Inventory Management is the central hub for tracking every SKU across the warehouse. It shows current stock levels, locations, client ownership, and status for all inventory items.
Users can filter by client, location, or status to quickly find specific items. The screen supports transfers between locations, quantity adjustments (with audit trail), and low-stock alerting based on configurable minimum thresholds.
All quantity changes flow through an append-only inventory ledger. Every night a 3-way reconciliation confirms the immutable movement history, the per-item quantity, and the per-bin balance all agree. Any drift is surfaced as an exception you see the next morning, not weeks later.
A one-click on-demand self-test lets managers run the same reconciliation any time — useful before a month-end close or after a large adjustment.
