There’s a category of work in any software platform that doesn’t show up in product demos but determines whether the platform can actually be depended on. Billing infrastructure that handles failures gracefully. Error monitoring that surfaces problems before customers email about them. Bot protection that works without breaking real users.

Your subscription billing, handled professionally

The platform itself charges you, the operator, on a subscription. That billing is run through industry-standard payment processing — the same kind of system every business-grade SaaS uses to handle cards, invoices, and renewal cycles. From your side, a few things this gives you:

Predictable monthly invoicing. Your platform fee is billed monthly in advance; usage charges (delivery stops, labels, storage) bill in arrears at month-end. Your card on file handles both automatically.

Pro-rated plan changes. Upgrade today, you start using the new plan immediately and pay the prorated difference. Downgrade today, you keep what you paid for until the end of the cycle.

Failed-payment recovery. If a charge fails — expired card, insufficient funds — the system retries on a standard schedule and emails you. Your service isn’t interrupted at the first failure; you get a chance to fix the card before anything affects your operation.

Real bugs get triaged and fixed. The polite no-thats-not-valid responses are handled by the form, not escalated.

Practically: if you see a fix shipped in the build log that you didn’t ever notice was broken, this monitoring is why.

Bot protection on every public form

The signup form and the sales lead form both have light bot protection. We chose a privacy-preserving option that runs as a single-click confirmation for legitimate users — no “identify the motorcycles” puzzle, no cross-site tracking, no third-party cookies.

If a bot tries to spam-create accounts or fill the lead form, the protection blocks it server-side. If you’re a real human filling either form, you’ll click once and be done. That’s the entire interaction.

For you as an operator, this matters because bot signups are how SaaS platforms quietly get drowned in junk data. Without protection, your platform owner dashboard would surface dozens of fake tenants every week, eating into the engineering attention that should be going to features. With it, every account that lands is real.
